Role of the Family Life Commission:
To
support the community by meeting the social and service needs of
parishoners across the life-cycle.

Senior Ministry
Provides a way for seniors in the parish to come together in fellowship
and prayer. The Senior Ministry participates in the Adoration of
the Blessed Sacrament and hosts an annual retreat at the Omega Retreat
Center. Meetings are held monthly the third Thursday of the month
at 10:30AM in the St. Frances Bldg. at St Peter’s Parish followed
by lunch at the Rainbow Center. The Ministry also plans trips of
interest in the area.

Women’s Ministry
A dedicated group of ladies who: Pray together; enjoy each other's
company; discuss women's issues; and raise money for our parish,
sister parish and community. We meet monthy from September through
May. Once a year at the end of March the Women's Ministry sponsors
an Art Auction to raise money for scholarships and worthy causes.
In the past the organization has awarded scholarships to graduating
Seniors and adults from our parish who are continuing their education,
and Middle School and High School Scholarships for members of our
sister parish, as well as supported residents of Meadowlands at
Christmas and for their activity funds.

Knights of Columbus: Imagine being part of an
organization that fills your heart and your mind with the joy of
giving to others and the feeling that comes with making a diference.
Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed
to making their community a better place, while supporting their
Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved
with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church,
while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing
your family life .

Catholic Young Adults
This is a brand new ministry aimed at filling the gap from high
school to about 30 years old. The goal is to provide a safe haven
for young adults to gather worship and pray with one another. Meetings
are on Tuesday’s at 7pm at the St Peter’s Activity Center.

Catholic Youth
Organization (CYO)
CYO strives to offer youth sports and recreation programs which
emphasize friendly competition through good sportsmanship modeled
by adult participants. All participants regardless of faith or age
are welcome to share in the life of the faith community.

Scouting
Cub Scouts: The aim of Cub Scouting is to help
boys grow into good citizens who are strong in character and personally
fit. Cub Scouts are for boys in first grade through fifth grade.
Boy Scouts: The Boy Scouts of America’s objectives
are to develop character, citizenship, and personal fitness. Boy
Scouts is available to boys who are at least 10 years old or have
completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but
not yet 18 years old.

Family Fellowship
Family Fellowship is a ministry that plans social events for parish
families to spend quality time together as they share in the life
of their faith community. Individuals and couples join together
as a "Core Group" to help plan and organize familly outings.
Activities include: Easter Egg Hunt, Annual Progressive Dinner,
Family Bowling Night, Family Pool Night, Annual Camping Trip.

Faithful Quilters:
Our mission includes education, parish and community service and
lots of fun. Please join us if you have a project to star or finish.
We welcome beginners! We quilt the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings
