To provide emotional, spiritual, and physical support to the grieving and people in crisis.

Pastoral Care Minisitries:

Samaritan: The Samaritan Ministers are Eucharistic Ministers with a special dedication to taking the Eucharist to those who are unable to gather with the community for the Sunday Liturgy due to illness or confinement.

Bereavement: The bereavement committee ministers to families wo have lost a loved one by providing a meal following a funeral Mass here at St. Peters. This caring, dedicated group of parishioners prepares a sit down meal for the family and friends, allowing them time to relax and visit with one another.

Stephen Ministry: The Stephen Ministry is made up of trained lay ministers to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. The purpose is to: To provide care through personal visits; to listen, support, encourage and pray for and with those in need; to reach out to those who are hurting, struggling, discouraged, stressed, confused, or broken because of some life changing event in their lives; to visit families, in the name of St. Peter's after the loss of a loved one.
Our ministers receive 50 hours of initial training in care ministry skills and concepts, before being commissioned. Once commissioned, Stephen Ministers meet on the first and third Tuesday, of each month, for supervision and continuing education.
