First Eucharist (First Communion)
Children in second grade or older are invited to participate with their parents in this process in the Spring which includes a parent/child session, home based instruction, a family retreat and the celebration of the Sacrament of Eucharist. Children also need to be involved in one of the ongoing faith formation options available here at St. Peter the Apostle. Special Note: It is required for all children to prepare for First Reconciliation (Penance or Confesssion) in the Fall prior to First Eucharist. Parent/Child Sessions (This required session is for parents and the child(ren) being prepared.)
