Registering for Mass is no longer required. Mass is now on a first come, first served basis.
Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in recent weeks, St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church has decided to close down all meeting rooms for July. If you have a meeting scheduled in any room, including the Cana Ballroom, gym, or outside locations, please call our office to reschedule. We encourage you to continue to have your meetings via Zoom or another video conferencing service. The closure of the meeting rooms will NOT impact daily or weekly Mass, Baptisms, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Funerals, or Weddings. Our office will remain open; however, several employees will be working from home, so please call our office at (830) 816-2233 to schedule an appointment if you need to meet with a staff member. Christy, our receptionist will still be available for you at the front desk during normal office hours. God Bless.

Homily for 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time by Fr. David Garcia, friend of Fr. Norman
Attached is a copy of the homily Fr. David Garcia delivered on the 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time, during the live streamed Mass he celebrated for the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio. Fr. David and Fr. Norman are good friends and both are priests of the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Fr. David gave his express permission to make this homily available to all families of our parish. It is worth taking the time to read the homily because it is rich in theology, very practical and applicable to daily life, and inspirational. It will provide spiritual insight for your day and much to reflect on. Should you want to see his spontaneous delivery of this fuller, written text, you may find it by going to the Oblate School of Theology website to their YouTube posting for this past Sunday. Fr. David is in his first year of retirement, but still engaged in priestly life and parish Masses. Enjoy. Thanks, Fr. Norman
